LittleGPTracker can be configured in a various ways through a series of flags. These flags can either be defined temporarely at the command line or permanently in a config file called 'config.xml'.

Note that values do not necessarely affect all platforms. Also, if one of the values isn't working for you it's possible that you need to get the latest ghetto build.

the gp32 can send midi out with this schematic! small and powered off the gp32's +3V, it can be built into a cable.

i would suggest a female din5 rather than a male din5 ... the pin # to connect to are the same but the pinout diagram is flipped. this is because male2male midi cables are the standard and you may want to extend the DFS cable.

I realized people are getting confused with the mapping file so I'll try to make it a bit clearer.

First of all, the mapping file is NOT a replacement for key configuration in the config.xml file. If you want to change the default mapping of keys, use the config.xml (see the wiki for that).
The mapping file is intended to augment/add control ON TOP of the existing basic configuration.

this quick start guide is intended to be a gentle introduction to LittleGPTracker (lgpt, piggy, the pig, our precious oinker, etc). this guide should be useful if you're running piggy on any platform.

piggy is a sample tracker with an interface and controls specifically designed for a hand held game console. along the way there have been many bows to LSDj so if your comfortable with that gameboy tracker, piggy will fit like an old hat.

LittleGPTracker (a.k.a piggy tracker) is a sample based tracker originally programed for the gamepark handhelds, but now also available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX. It implements a user interface similar to the refined track-by-joypad software littlesounddj. Piggy currently supports 8 monophonic 8Bit/16Bit/44.1Khz stereo channels as well as 16 channel midi output. Piggy is currently under development and the latest versions of the program (along with unstable ghetto builds) can be found at…

Simulating LSDj's D command

One command that is from LSDj but doesn't exist in LGPT is the [D]elay command. However, it is possible to emulate it. It's a little tricky but gives a good view of several commands so I'll explain it here:

For this, we'll need to use PLOF (play offset). PLOF is the command that allows to position the sample playback cursor both/either to an absolute point in the sample or relative to the current play position. For example, PLOF 8000 will put the playback head to t…

	* Download and extract the stable release.
